3 Ways to Celebrate 4th of July in Oroville

Fireworks Show

It is impossible to celebrate the 4th of July without a fireworks display. This year it is no different. A fireworks show awaits you at Oroville Airport, 225 Chuck Yeager Way. The Rotary Club of Oroville will host the show in conjunction with the Oroville Area Chamber of Commerce.

The display starts half an hour after sunset, weather permitting. Grab your viewing spot, don’t miss a second of the show, and remember to carry your water. There will be no admission fees for viewing the fireworks.

Fourth of July Fly-In

The fun doesn’t stop there. Again hosted by the Oroville Area Chamber of Commerce, a Fourth of July Fly-In event will feature aircraft formation flying demos, airplane rides, and custom cars. There will be food, drinks, and fun activities for the entire family.

Bring your little ones and watch them party to their hearts’ content.

More Fireworks

Party like it’s 1776 courtesy of another spectacular fireworks display over Thermalito North Forebay. The show starts 30 minutes after sunset and can be seen from Nelson Sports Complex, North & South Forebay State Recreation Area, and Feather River Center. Food, drinks, and many activities, including swimming and music. Feel free to bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets.
