Camelot Equestrian Park has been the local favorite to spend time with their horses. The park hosts competitions in various disciplines—Hunter/Jumper, Trail Trials, Dressage, Gymkhana, Eventing, and Vaulting.

Just 30 minutes away from Camelot Equestrian Park features great equestrian trails. Lake Oroville State Recreation Area is a 12,000-acre wildlife expanse. It also features specialty biking and hiking trails. Explore the 17.5-mile trail and spend the day seeing the sights on horseback.
The equestrian campsite offers horse shower stalls, feeding troughs, a circle ring, ample parking, and access to trails.
Additionally, it has 15 individual camping spaces with a room for two horses. Pamper your horse with horse washing, tethering, and feeding stations. Taking time to explore this campsite will not disappoint.

You can also go to the southern edge of Lake Oroville and give Loafer Creek Recreation Area a try. This place is also known as one of the great places to ride your horse. It has 15 campsites that accommodate eight people, two vehicles, and two horses.
You have nothing to worry about if you come in large groups, as the site welcomes reserving two campsites. The place is well-maintained and has been a fantastic place to relax. Have fun with your horse as you also relish the tremendous scenery.
