If you love to hike, you must get the #HikeButteCA Pass. This pass allows you to explore the best hiking trails in Butte County! The pass includes trail information, driving directions, and links to maps for some of the best hikes in the area.

The #HikeButteCA Pass is free to participate. Sign up and hit the trails! When you check in on your mobile device, the app will automatically track your progress, so there’s no need to enter information manually.

Several trails, from easy to challenging hikes, are available, including Chico Seed Orchard, Annie Bidwell Trail, and Bidwell Park Tour.

Adventure Pass

The Adventure Pass is your ticket to exploring all the natural wonders of Butte County. With over 300 miles of trails and waterways, plenty of adventures are waiting for you!

Explore Butte County’s network of trails and waterways with this pass which allows you to hike, bike, or paddle at 30 scenic spots across the area.

You can choose from plenty of scenic spots, including parks, preserves, and wetlands, along with fun activities like guided tours, special events, and more.

Celebrating 150 Years

Chico’s 150th anniversary is here! The city’s birthday celebration starts with fun events and festivities from May 1st to September 30th.

This pass provides access to 150 days of activities specific to Chico’s hometown heritage. From traditional events like Slice of Chico to unexpected finds (ever heard of the echo chamber in downtown Chico?), this event celebrates Chico’s history.
