During the festival, you can also tour the Ehmann Home, more popularly known as the “house that olives built.”

This festival is usually held in June at the Old Courthouse Park across the street from the Ehmann Home.

Salmon Festival

The Salmon Festival celebrates the return of salmon to their historic spawning grounds in California’s Feather River.

Visit the fish hatchery to witness the salmon run. You can also race in the 3k Salmon Dash, browse the street fair, and sample various salmon dishes.

Downtown Oroville hosts this family-friendly event every year on the fourth Saturday in September.
