1Is this a manufactured home?
No! This is a site built home with engineered wood. They do however assemble the exterior and interior walls in the plant located right here in Paradise, CA, in a controlled environment, they are better sealed & resistant to mold. Up to 35% less site waste.
2What is a SIP and why are they better?
SIP is short for Structural Insulated Panels, they are a building system that is extremely strong, energy efficient, and cost effective. In fact, in Canada where the climate is extremely cold, SIP homes are considered an upper end product than a traditional framed home. Insulated foam core between two engineered boards.

3Are SIP Homes really faster to construct?
Absolutely, in fact, once your lot prep and foundation work is done, construction of full exterior and interior walls are completed within 1-2 days. This becomes extremely important once the rainy weather is upon us. Exteriors are completed quickly and all interior work can easily be finished regardless of weather.
4What about floor plans and engineering time frames?
This is the best part, choose one of their already vetted floor plans or create your own special design. Once your new floor plan is approved, engineering takes about 2-3 weeks. I know right, crazy fast. A 3D home rendering of your home will be provided.
5I heard the foundation system is different?
Yes, instead of a traditional dirt crawl space, they provide a non-vented conditioned crawl space with a concrete floor. The ICF (Insulated Concrete Forms) will not decompose or decay, protecting against rot, corrosion, termites and mold. Provides an excellent area for storage that remains clean and dry with easier access to mechanical and electrical components.

6What is OSB and why is it important?
Oriented Strand Board, resembles particle board but nothing like it. OSB is saturated with a cocktail of resins/adhesives designed to provide superior strength and waterproofing to the finished product and is stronger than plywood in shear value. Another huge plus, since used on interior walls, easily hang your 75” TV anywhere, no more looking for studs. Almost impossible to poke holes in the drywall. Homeowners and landlords love this product.
7What about interior/exterior walls?
Interior offers traditional drywall over the OSB engineered wood. Exterior is also OSB, with an applied product called Palladium Textured Coating which looks like stucco but far superior and indestructible. It’s flexible for a seamless coating, water resistant, seals tightly, low maintenance, non-toxic resists mold and mildew and fire resistant.
