Ben has been fortunate to call Chico home for almost two years. A transplant from Montana, Ben and his husband Patrick, along with their 4 fur children, moved to Chico from Bozeman after Patrick accepted a professorship at CSU. Ben was raised in Texas and then attended Augustana College in Sioux Falls, SD where he studied sociology and psychology. He served two years with AmeriCorps, National Civilian Community Corps where he traveled throughout the U.S. completing various work with local non-profits. Through his tenure with AmeriCorps he was deployed with American Red Cross Disaster Relief and fought wildland fires with the Maryland and Delaware DNR.
Ben joined the real estate arena with a resume highlighted by restaurant management, catering management, and twenty years of customer service experience. Honesty and integrity, peppered with his fun-loving witty personality, are the virtues Ben possesses that make working with him a true delight. His work ethic, due diligence, and innate drive for your happiness are the foundation to you receiving the best service this side of the Sierra’s.
When not selling Butte County homes you can usually find Ben at Bidwell Park taking his pups Mabel and Bernie for an adventure. He and Patrick could also be spotted at a watering hole near you sipping on frothy refreshing brews. But more than likely, you will find him at any one of the local bakeries picking out a yummy treat to devour.
